Advantages of Staying In A Holiday Apartment or Villa on the Costa Del Sol

When going on holiday the kind of accommodation that you choose to stay in can make a big difference to the type of holiday you have.  When staying on the Costa del Sol for example you have the option of staying either in a hotel or in an apartment or villa.  So which one should you choose?

Below we take a look at some of the advantages of opting to stay in a holiday apartment or villa rather than a hotel. 

Advantage 1 – The cost of staying in an apartment or a villa will cost quite a bit less than a hotel as the overheads involved are much less.  Plus as the demand for rooms in hotels to popular tourist destinations tends to be high especially at the height of the season they are able to increase the rates they charge quite significantly.  But you will find staying in an apartment will cost considerably less especially if you are holidaying with a large group. 

Advantage 2 – What you will find with the majority of apartments and villas to rent for a holiday on the Costa del Sol is that they are in gated communities.  The number of properties within these complexes tend to be quite small and are all surrounded by well cared for gardens.  This provides you with a great deal more privacy than you can expect from a hotel room and have more space available to you. 

Advantage 3 – Staying in a holiday apartment or villa rather than a hotel offers you a home away from home.  They will have all the amenities you need to have a relaxing stay including well equipped kitchens and well furnished bathrooms.  In most cases there will be one bathroom for every bedroom within the property so no clamouring each morning to use them.
